They also conducted a focus group with Anthropology 教师 to better underst和 和 articulate themes central to the department’s identity. 三个展览Meet Our Anthropologists, Doing Anthropology: Beloit 和 Beyond, Anthropology at Beloit: Past 和 Present–emerged through this iterative, nearly year-long process.

Doing Anthropology: Beloit 和 Beyond. Meet our AnthropologistsDoing Anthropology help current 和 prospective students see themselves as Beloiters. The exhibit highlights the current focus on contemporary collecting, repatriation efforts, the work of the student-led Campus Mounds Sustainability 和 Advocacy Initiative.

Historic Gothic-style window alcoves now feature detailed images of collection items including an Amuzgo huipil from Oaxaca, 墨西哥, a Guna mola from Panama, an Ojibwa yarn bag from Wisconsin. As always, the museum is free 和 open to the public.
